St Francis Xavier College

As Publications Officer, I produced a variety of creative content to promote and support St Francis Xavier College. This included:

  • creating engaging digital and print design materials, including advertisements, publications, flyers, banners, posters, and digital content, primarily utilising the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • ensuring College documents and materials are on-brand and well-designed, including College forms, annual reports, and presentations
  • collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translating them into a comprehensive working brief to successfully achieve project and business goals
  • working with external contractors to implement integrated communication strategies, such as specialist design agencies, advertising agencies, and web development teams
  • managing and maintaining the College website via WordPress CMS

My key achievements in this role include:

  • developing the official College brand and design style guide and modernising the College visual identity
  • revamping the College website by identifying broken functionality and improving overall CMS usability
  • leading the redesign of the College’s student award system that replaced manual procedures with a more automated and reliable software-based solution
  • sourcing and developing content for the College’s social media channels which resulted in record-high engagement
  • establishing a videography capability within the marketing team which resulted in effective promotional videos that supported student admissions during the COVID-19 restrictions
